Pastor Jamyle J.D. Searcy, D.Min
Dr. Jamyle J. D. Searcy is an anointed vessel destined to make an indelible impact for the Kingdom of God. A fourth-generation preacher, Dr. Searcy has been rooted in the rich tradition of the church yet has a charismatic and current presentation of the gospel allowing him to effectively minister across generational lines.
He is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and was educated in the Newton Public School System, a suburb of Boston. A gifted musician from a young age, the church served as an incubator for his God given skills. His musical abilities have taken him around the world serving as preparation for his anointed ministry in music and the preached word.
Following the Lord’s leading, Dr. Searcy relocated to Columbia, SC where he enrolled in Benedict College and graduated from the School of Honors earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. Desiring to be seminary-trained, he earned a Master of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Biblical Studies - New Testament from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Morehouse School of Religion at The ITC. Dr. Searcy was inducted into the Theta Phi International Honors Society and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Searcy is 2018 graduate of Leadership Augusta and serves on various organizations and Boards in the community.
Dr. Searcy faithfully serves as Senior Pastor of New Direction Christian Center in Augusta, GA. His love for education combined with his passion for a ministry that reaches the masses allows him to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ from a scholarly approach with a simplistic appeal.
He is the loving husband of Dr. Kristie Searcy and the caring father of Jamyle II, Jayla, Kayden, and Myla.

Teacher, Leader, Motivator, and Model are just a few titles befitting Dr. Kristie Searcy. Equipped with a loving heart and a fiery zeal to see others become empowered to achieve their goals, Dr. Searcy is committed to inspiring others to become their best selves.
Dr. Searcy was reared in the knowledge of the Bible by her father, Minister Tryon Eichelberger, Jr. and taught to have a reverence and a relationship with Christ by her mother, Mrs. Ollie Eichelberger. As a young adult she answered the call to ministry at Family Worship Center in Columbia, South Carolina under the leadership of Bishop Derrick W. Hutchins, Sr. After assisting her husband in establishing New Direction Christian Center in Augusta, GA, she became a licensed Missionary/Evangelist and was later ordained as an Elder of the church. She now serves with her husband as the Executive Pastor of the ministry.
She is a huge proponent of education. She holds multiple degrees; a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, a Master of Arts degree in Health Services Management, a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Professionally, she is the department head of the Radiology Programs at Augusta Technical College and the CEO and chief editor of Class A Editing. From these platforms, she has the fortunate opportunity to teach, train, counsel, and affect the lives of learners and writers on a daily basis.
Dr. Searcy has a great heart for ministry and kingdom work. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. as well as Jack and Jill of America. She is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Augusta. She is currently a member of the Talented Tenth Community Leadership Program. She labors diligently in every capacity. Her mantra is “Be the best YOU you can be!” She demonstrates her best self daily as a wife to Dr. Jamyle Searcy and loving mother to Jayla, Kayden, and Myla.
